Formerly known as Manila Express and located in the oldest building in Downtown Tigard, Tigardville Station has a long and colorful history.
There are those that say it is haunted! Bartenders say they’ll hear the sound of the front door opening while they’re closing up in the wee hours. They’ll walk over and find that it’s still locked.
There’s a certain spot on the dance floor where the temperature always seems to remain several chilly degrees lower than elsewhere. Bartenders will tell patrons about it without revealing the exact location. And the patrons find it.
New owner Pete Louw is taking Tigardville Station to the next level and beyond. He has expanded the menu to include seasonal and daily specials, expanded the bar selection by adding some very nice Single Malt Scotch Whiskys and added a "State of the Art" Entertainment system that accesses several different satellite systems to bring you all the sports and entertainment you could ask for.
Pete has also added a First Class PA system to accommodate the various bands that play at Tigardville Station on weekends and throughout the week as well.
Tigardville Station always has one of the Portland areas best bands playing on the weekend, bands like Sonny 'Smokin' Hess, Probable Cause, Kevin Selfe, Lisa Mann, Beadhead, The Sandy Saunders Band and a host of others.
On Wednesday evening from 8:00pm to 11:00 there is a lively Open Mic session with Jim Crutcher hosting.
Stop by often because it just keeps getting better!
